In 1990, Cindy Komlenic and two other women bankers founded BancForce Staffing in response to the demand from the San Diego banking community for a staffing service provider with more specialized knowledge of the unique staffing challenges of banks, credit unions, escrow, collection, and title companies. The company was founded with the mission of building partnerships between the financial industry and quality personnel.
During the same year, Craig Knudson founded BANKtemps with a mission of providing superior, qualified direct hire, temp-to-hire and temporary employees to commercial and community banks and credit unions in San Diego.
Over the years, both firms prospered and while one expanded south, the other headed north and in time, BancForce Staffing and BANKtemps became "friendly competitors" with a common goal of improving the quality of staffing services provided within the financial services industry.
In November of 2004, Cindy and Craig decided that the best way to truly realize each of their visions was to make the transition from competition to collaboration, and the two companies joined forces under the BancForce Financial Staffing name.
By combining resources, experience, hard work and a common vision, BancForce Financial Staffing was able to further improve service to the financial services community, and become the most comprehensive banking and financial staffing service in the Southwest.
